Microsoft recently released the much anticipated Service Pack(SP2) for Microsoft Office. This service pack includes around 600 bug fixes and other improvements. The most notable features in this update is the inclusion of Open Document Format (ODF) and Portable Document Format (PDF) support. Now you can save and edit Open Document Text (odt), Open Document Spreadsheet (ods) and Open Document Presentations (odp).
There is a performance boosts of around 35% in applications such as Outlook. Outlook 2007 SP2 is 26 percent faster than its predecessor on a set of common e-mail tasks and is even faster, 35 percent, with larger mailboxes. Here is the complete list of changes that are added in this update.
