ADVERTISEMENTS

The recently released iPhone OS 3.0 not only supports HTTP streaming of videos but also background streaming of Audio. So now you can listen to your favorite Internet Radio while typing in a note or a SMS message.

Follow these steps:

1. Fire up Safari Web Browser in your iPod/iPhone

2. Enter the URL of your favorite music streaming site. My favorite is Shoutcast, because it has a plethora of Internet Stations

3. Tap on the Tune in button, and your music will start streaming

4. While the music is playing press the Home Button

That’s it, now you can enjoy music for free, anytime you want

P.S: This will only work if you have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0
