How to make old addons compatible with Firefox 3.5

There are a number of Firefox addons that are still not compatible with Firefox 3.5. Whenever we try to install an addon, it throws up an error. If you still want to use old addons than you have to wait for a compatibility update or you can use this simple hack to make the addon compatible with Firefox 3.5.
Follow these steps
1. Fire up Firefox and enter about:config in the address bar. Ignore the warning and press Enter.
2. Once you enter about:config screen, right click anywhere and select New > Boolean.
3. A small window will popup asking you to enter the Preference name. Enter checkCompatibility in the text box and press Enter.
4. Select false as Boolean Value.
5. Once it is done create another Boolean by following the same steps, New –> Boolean and name this one as checkUpdateSecurity, again choose false term for this.
6. Restart Firefox and install all your old addons, they will work fine.
Note: This hack may cause problems to Firefox, please make a backup before atempting this hack.
