How to get rid of Store Init Failed – Engine Init() Failed error in Opera

If you an ardent fan of Opera, just like me, than you might have faced the Store Init Failed – Engine Init() Failed error while using the inbuilt Mail client in Opera. Opera officially doesn’t provide any particular fix to this problem but here are some solutions that you can try to get rid of this error.

Opera Mail Store Init FailedSolution 1: Kill Opera.exe process from the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc.). Wait for a minute or so and start Opera. It the most workable solution and it should fix this error. Follow the solutions below, if it doesn’t fix your problem.

Solution 2: Update Opera to its most recent version. Goto Help Menu and click Check for Updates.

Solution 3: Delete Opera Cache from Tools > Delete Private Data and restart your computer. After restart fire up Opera, you will see that the error is gone.
