The most noticeable feature in Windows 7 is the Superbar(replacement of taskbar) and the streamlined Aero interface. If you still stuck up with Windows XP and wanted to add these features in your age old OS then here is a solution.

Go and download Seven Aero RC Theme for Windows XP developed by Guttu. Extract the downloaded zip file and copy Seven7RC folder to X:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes where X is the drive where Windows XP resides.

Now download a nice little app from Lee-Softs, ViGlance, that will convert the default Windows XP taskbar to Windows 7 Superbar.(ViGlance is also included in the theme archive)

Theme ChangeThat’s it apply your new theme and fire up ViGlance and see your Windows XP transforming into Windows 7.
