Broken links in a blog or website certainly reduce its reputation and PageRank (to some extent). Normally it is very cumbersome to find each and every link if you have a large website with 1000’s of pages.

Fortunately, here is a free service that will check for broken links in your website. The Link Checker tool by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) checks for broken links in your website in real time. A fully laden report of links is generated after each scan.

For all those bloggers out there who use Wordpress as a blogging platform, there is a plugin, Broken Link Checker, that deeply scans the blog for broken links.
