Recently, we have seen some leaked screenshots of Microsoft Security Essentials and now we got hold of the actual beta application that is slated to be released on June 23 for public beta testing.
As we all know Microsoft Security Essentials is a free antivirus and antispyware solution for Windows users. It is designed to replace Windows Live OneCare 2.0. The UI is much similar to Windows Defender.
According to Microsoft the Microsoft Security Essentials Beta will be made publicly available in Brazil, Israel and the U.S. starting June 23 at about 9am PDT from www.microsoft.com/security_essentials, and general availability is scheduled for later this calendar year.
