The Desktop Cleaning Wizard in Windows XP was a nice little tool for guys like me who used to fill up their desktops with unnecessary icons and files, but for strange reason Microsoft has removed this tool from Windows Vista and Windows 7.
But a developer named Omkarnath has released an app just like that goes by the name of CleanDesktop. As the name says CleanDesktop is a portable app that scans and cleans up items from the desktop that are not used for more than 30 days.
The unused items are not deleted but moved to a folder on the Desktop viz; C:\Users \username\Desktop\Unused Icons. Download it from here.
