How to preview Photoshop PSD files as thumbnails in Windows Explorer

You got a number of Photoshop Files (.psd) on your drive which you want to sort out, as some of these files are unwanted & they are clogging space on your drive. It is a cumbersome task but still you can follow these two techniques -

1. Open each file in Photoshop & check whether it is needed or not.
2. Delete the files according to the file names.

Securing your Wordpress Blog

Wordpress generally do not allow you to change the default ‘admin‘ username, this is a big security issue as a hacker’s work is reduced to just brute force the password as he knows the username is always ‘admin‘.  Though, there is a workaround to change the password directly in the database. We will use phpmyadmin to alter the database. Just log in to you phpmyadmin account & select your wordpress database from the drop down menu on the left side. Adding a Permalink option in the New Blogger

A permalink is a URL that points to a specific blogging entry even after the entry has passed from the front page into the blog archives.Permanence in links is desirable when content items are likely to be linked to, from, or cited by, a source outside the originating organization.An entry in a blog with many entries is accessible from the site’s front page for only a short time. Visitors who store the URL for a particular entry often find upon their return that the desired content has been replaced by something new. Prominently posting permalinks is a method employed by bloggers to encourage visitors to store a more long-lived URL (the permalink) for reference.
