Windows Vista and Windows 7 applies Aero effects on each and every window that comes up, but the only thing that is left behind is the command prompt.
Here is a small application, developed by Komalo, that allows you to enable Aero transparency effects on command prompt too. The application runs in the background and automatically applies transparency on every CMD window that is opened. A cool tool…! Give it a try. [download]

Hello,
Would you happen to know of a hack that makes it possible to have Aero transparency in windows inside other applications? For instance: when I’m using Cubase 5, the mais application windows has Aero transparency enabled, but every window that is located within the application (sequencer, mixer, plugins, etc.) shows up with the annoying blue, opaque border.
I’m using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Thank you very much
Hi,
the information is not perfect, because this program is not working with Windows 7!
I tested it, and just see the name of program:
Glass_CMD_for_Vista_by_komalo.exe
